Due to the current worldwide situation, the processing time of some of our orders has experienced delays. But good news—our partner seamstress is almost back on schedule. Below you’ll find more detailed information about how long it will take before your order is shipped.

Made-to-order Silks

I will create a new scarf with the same design just for you. Please note, each silk is hand-painted, so even if it is the same design as another one, each silk is truly unique and will differ slightly from the original design shown on the listing.

Digitally Printed Made-to-Order Clothing

Each garment is made to order. It will take about 2–3 weeks to print, cut, and sew your new garment before shipping. The number of garments in your order also affects the production time.

We do our best to ship your order as promptly as possible, but the actual delivery of your order may take longer due to circumstances beyond our control. Below are standard (pre-pandemic) shipping times—please keep in mind the possibility of shipping delays. 

Domestic U.S. Shipping Estimates

U.S./North America: We ship via USPS First Class Mail, which after dispatched, the carrier transportation time can range between 4–7 business days depending on the destination.

    During these unprecedented times, many mail services are experiencing regional delays. Please contact your local post office to find out the status of your country's current mail delivery system. 

    Your purchase will be shipped via First Class International unless you purchase a shipping upgrade. Please allow up to 3–8 weeks for your package to arrive. Some areas may take longer depending on customs.

    Customs and Import Taxes

    Before you place an order, find out what your country's import restrictions are from the U.S. Understand that we are not responsible for any customs fees, duty fees, or applicable taxes on any international purchases you might incur. 

    Please be aware: England has a rather HIGH duty and tax, customs, and local fees, etc. To find out more about import fees, please contact your local British Customs office.

    Buyers are responsible for all customs and import taxes that may apply to international purchases, including any additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Silk Takuyo is not responsible for delays due to customs.

    Please do not ask us to mark your order as a "gift" this is against federal laws and we will not do so.
